Description

It had been the longest winter in my living memory. Colder, more snow, and lasting well into April. When spring finally came, the returning song-birds sang with divine tongues. The trees burst to life and smell of rain filled the air. I couldn't help but be filled with a giddy joy at the sights, smells, and sounds of a world, half-forgotten, beyond silent drifts several months long.
